We provide a full day program for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Part time enrollment includes two or three days of care a week.
Currently, all our classrooms are fully enrolled.
Please call (206)625-0842 for more information about being added to the Waiting List. As openings become available, we contact families on the Waiting List to fill available spots. Priority is given to families who work in the Market, siblings, and children who need full time care.
We arrange tours on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Tours must be scheduled in advance by calling (206) 625-0842 to ensure availability. At the time of your tour, you will receive additional information about the program, fees and enrollment procedures.
PMCCP believes families of all economic means should have access to high quality early education. To help make this possible, we provide service on a sliding scale and determine tuition rates based on families’ size and income. Feel free to call the school to talk about your specific situation and see if you might qualify. You can talk with someone during your tour to get an estimate as well.
Our program also accepts child care subsidies from DSHS and the City’s Comprehensive Childcare Program.
If you do not qualify for tuition assistance you pay the actual cost of care. The full rate for the current school year is:
Toddlers $1,465/month for full time
Preschool $1,320/month for full time
What ages of children do you serve?
We are licensed to provide care for children aged 18 months to 5 years.
How long is the waiting list?
It depends. A family can be on the waiting list for 2 days or over 2 years. Our greatest number of openings occur in the fall, but we do open enrollment all year. As spots become available we find families on the Waiting List whose needs match the opening. The biggest factor is schedule. Priority is given to children needing full time care, siblings and families who work in the Market.
Is PMCCP a Child Care or a Preschool program?
Our program provides early education to young children. We feel strongly that children need love and nurturing to feel safe and to learn. Caring and educating go hand in hand.
Can children attend part time?
Yes. Our school offers a full day program, and children can come two, three, or five days a week.
How much does it cost?
We provide service on a sliding scale, so we look at your family’s size and gross income to determine what you’ll pay. Tuition ranges from $15 to $1,465 a month. Call the school to see if you might qualify for our Tuition Assistance Program.
